Start a movement, not another wellness program.
Most wellness programs are simply that … "programs," and they lack the ability to create change in the workplace. With over a decade of experience and after training countless leaders, managers, and teams, we are cultivating wellness movements that work. As a result, teams are infusing well-being across the organization instead of one-off initiatives and experiencing the benefits of higher levels of engagement, productivity, and overall well-being.
There's a lot at stake.
Heart disease, diabetes, stress, obesity and a host of other chronic conditions are plaguing our society like never before. For the first time ever, experts are predicting a shorter life expectancy for our kids and with the rise of so-called "Deaths of Despair" and COVID, life expectancy has already reversed.
That's not right. And that's why we're doing something about it. But, doing something about employee health requires a whole lot more than just starting another program.
Motion Infusion is transforming organizations by helping each to start a movement.

So, who plays the biggest role in workplace wellness?
You might automatically think of the HR department or the Executive team.
We’ve identified four critical roles of well-being at work. But, there is one role that has stood out since I started this work back in 2008, and that is the role of the manager. The manager holds the key to engaging workplace well-being and will directly impact the ability to move from just another program to a highly effective well-being movement. Burnout is impacting everyone — even the managers, making it harder for them to lead their team.
To address this crisis, you need methods that have been proven to work not just for the few but for all.

Re-engineering movement back into our lives. It’s less about exercise and more about moving throughout the day (aka, Motion Infusion). To do so, we need to acknowledge the fact that we are “born to move, but told to sit.” That is, everything in our society drives us to our chairs. We need to find meaningful ways to move throughout the day, such as taking a five-minute walk every half hour.
