In Step Two, we focus on closing the "knowing and doing gap." Most of already know what we need to do to Get Healthier, Get Happier and Get Smarter, but we just can’t seem to get ourselves to make the necessary behavioral changes to put this knowledge into action. Our hands-on workshops are designed to do just that.

Applying the latest behavior change research, our workshops are fun, interactive and highly effective. And not just for the short term. With limited class size —up to 25 participants— we give employees the tools to make meaningful, long-lasting, behavioral changes, creating new rituals to replace old habits.

We offer a three-part workshop series:

GET HEALTHIER: How to Be Well When You’re Working Hard

Focus on the Body: In this practical workshop, employees learn how to take care of themselves even when they’re working hard and have “no time.” Employees learn how to infuse their workdays with motion and discover new ways to better balance work, family, friends and all of life’s demands without feeling physically and emotionally drained at the end of the day. This innovative workshop introduces employees to proven ways to thrive both in work and life, especially in these financially challenging times.

GET HAPPIER: How to Be Happy in a Stressed-Out World

Focus on the Heart: This workshop combines stress management with relationship building—keys to increased happiness. Employees learn how they can manage their stress better through breath work, movement and reconnecting with the body. Exercise, it turns out, is the best anti-depressive out there—without the side effects of drugs. This workshop also provides a framework for employees to support each other on an ongoing basis as peer coaches – a cost-effective alternative to the popular coaching model.

GET SMARTER: Think and Thrive

Focus on the Mind. This workshop teaches employees how to become more creative, innovative and successful by using movement to maximize their thinking capabilities. Physical activity helps our brain in three ways: optimizes brain systems, enhances neural connections and produces more neurons. Contra-lateral exercises, in particular, create connections between the left and right sides of the brain, helping us to become more powerful “whole-brain” thinkers. This workshop is a great problem-solving tool and productivity enhancer.
