Inactivity magnifies age-related changes, but action maintains and increases your abilities. ~ Jane Brody, MD

Plain and simple: we need to get moving.

We believe — and research shows — that movement helps us to be healthier, happier and more productive. Movement keeps our blood circulating, our muscles tuned and our brains firing. When we move, we feel better, think better, look better, and function better.

It turns out that movement is not just good for employees, it's also good for companies. Studies show that companies "on the move" have decreased healthcare and workers compensation costs, reduced absenteeism, increased productivity, increased morale, increased employee retention, and ultimately, have achieved a healthier bottom line.

Take Johnson & Johnson, for example. As a result of their wellness programs that have gotten their employees moving more, they have been able to save 8.5 million dollars per year — about $225 savings per employee in healthcare costs. According to U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, companies can expect a return of $1.49 to $13 for every dollar spent on wellness.
